Kundalini ( Info courtesy The Ancient Indian UFO)

Kundalini is the name of a sleeping dormant potential force in the human organism and it is situated at the root of the spinal column. In the masculine body Kundalini is in the perineum, between the urinary and excretory organs. In the female body its location is at the root of the uterus, in the cervix. This center is known as mooladhara chakra and it is actually a physical structure. It is a small gland which you can even take out and press. However,  kundalini is a dormant energy, and even if you press it, it will not explode like a bomb. To awaken kundalini you must prepare yourself through yogic techniques. You must practise asanas, pranayama, kriya yoga and meditation. Then, when you are able to force your prana into the seat of kundalini, the energy wakes up and makes its way through sushumna nadi, the central nervous canal, to the brain. As kundalini ascends, it passes through each of the chakras which are interconnected with the different silent areas of the brain. With th

Are You Guilty of Being a Good Leader? ( Info courtesy John Ryan and Linkedin)

A blog by John Ryan ( had to read). That is why I took the liberty to share the same:   As I meet with clients throughout the year, I’m often reminded of an important truth: there are many superb leaders around the world who are building enduring organizations. But you will never hear about most of these outstanding individuals because they are focused on doing their jobs well instead of making a name for themselves. Their examples keep coming to mind as I read grim news accounts of political crises, companies in peril and opinion polls that show the public has overwhelmingly lost faith in its leaders. Personally, I think there is far more leadership talent out there than people usually acknowledge. But who can blame them for feeling let down? There’s no question that too many organizations are saddled with “empty-chair leaders,” as Vince Molinaro calls them in his excellent book  The Leadership Contract  – high-powered executives who have convinced themselves that they are

Serpent Force : Spiral form of Universal Energy (Info courtesy Ancient Indian UFO)

Man’s physical, astral, and causal bodies are tied together and work as one by a knotting of life force and consciousness in the seven cerebrospinal centers. In descending order, the final tie is a coiled knot at the base of the spine, preventing the ascension of consciousness into the heavenly astral kingdom. Unless one knows how to open this knot of astral and physical power, the life and consciousness remain attracted to the  mortal realm, emanating outward into the body and sensory consciousness. Most energy moves through space in spiral form- a ubiquitous motif in the macrocosmic architecture of the universe. Beginning with galactic nebulae- the cosmic birth-cradle of all matter- energy flows in coiled or circular or vortex-like patterns. The theme is repeated in the orbital dance of electrons around their atomic nucleus, and (as cited in Hindu scriptures of ancient origin) of planets and suns and stellar systems spinning through space around a grand centre of the universe. General Elections- A curtain raiser

As the general elections 2014 is around the corner, it is time for this blog to go political. In this elections, the  battle grounds are clearly defined and swords drawn. The main battle will be between the BJP and the Congress with two new faces at the helm, two leaders who are testing the waters for the first time in the national level.  While Narendra Modiji comes with a track record that can only be described as the best in Gujarat, Rahul Gandhi on the other hand does not have a track record to boast off. Clearly this will not be cake walk for the Congress as it battles anti incumbency factor coupled with rising corruption, high inflation, a weak economy and a directionless leadership. The BJP has a clear upper hand, fresh as they are with land slide victory in the just concluded assembly elections. The message that the BJP is putting up is of a strong country with a robust economy, strong defense and foreign policy. That particularly attracts the youth as they are fed u

India and Indonesia To Conduct Bilateral Naval Exercises ( Info courtesy The Diplomat)

Image courtesy- Wikimedia and Indian Navy Although defense cooperation between India and Indonesia isn’t quite as profound as  some would like it to be , the two showed signs of deepening their naval cooperation earlier this week. China’s Deceptively Weak (and Dangerous) Military (Info courtesy The Diplomat)

Image courtesy- Wikimedia and the author In April 2003, the Chinese Navy decided to put a large group of its best submarine talent on the same boat as part of an experiment to synergize its naval elite. The result? Within hours of leaving port, the Type 035 Ming III class submarine  sank  with all hands lost. Never having fully recovered from this maritime disaster, the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is still the only permanent member of the United Nations Security Council  never  to have conducted an operational patrol with a nuclear missile submarine.............. http://thediplomat.com/2014/01/chinas-deceptively-weak-and-dangerous-military/?allpages=yes

Russia Warns US-China-Japan Pacific War “Just Weeks Away (Info courtesy Farsnews.com)

According to this report, the recent decision by Chinese leader Xi Jinping to prosecute retired security tsar Zhou Yongkang's son Zhou Bin for corruption is the “leading impetus” that has led to a fracturing of loyalties in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) between those advocating immediate strikes against Japan and those cautioning a more strategic and diplomatic course of action in a number of territorial disputes between these two nations,.................. http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13921024000240

Krishna Quotes- The caged elephant

In a forest, there was an elephant which was extremely strong and possessed a powerful pair of tusks. One day, a thin and lean man came and trapped the elephant in a cage. The man used to stab the elephant pe riodically with a spiked stick. Soon the elephant became conditioned to the reality that there were only two kinds of experiences in life : pain when the man poked it with the stick, and pleasure in the absence of poking. Thus the man was able to tame the elephant and became the rider of the elephant. After some time, the elephant forgot that there was an alternate reality, in which it had roamed free in the forest, without any fear, and remaining all powerful. One day, when the rider was away, the elephant struggled to free itself. It struggled hard, and after days of intense effort, was able to shatter the cage. The elephant ran towards its freedom. The rider, to thwart the elephant's escape attempt, climbed a tree and jumped down, planning to land on the elephant’s back
