Beijing Olympics

Yet another Olympics is upon us. All the roads in the sports world leads to only one place, Beijing. World Leaders, Statesmen, Politicians, Sportsmen and women are all on their way to the famed ancient capital of the one of the oldest and greatest civilizations of the world.Like all the years India will be represented by some of our finest athletes and sports men and women. There were times when India would stand as one of the top medal grousers in the Olympics. Now let us analyse what has gone wrong with India over the years? In the last few Olympics, India stood bottom in the medal tally. What is the real reason for this downward swing? Welcome to my blog. I wanted to write about the recent scenes in the parliament that should be an awakening call to all the Indian citizens. The Indian politics has become a place all the criminals and unwanted elements has taken refuge. The nation and the common man who has elected these people is left high and dry and there is no time for the ruling class to care for the common man and do some welfare for the country. Now each party boasts of MPs some of them who are serving jail terms for such hanious crimes as murder. Why is that India's ruling class has stooped to such level? The country that has produced the likes of Chanakya, Mahathma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhai Patel and other galaxy of world renowned states man and leaders is now the sancury of criminals and extra social elements. Some thing need to be done. It is time for us to wake up, take notice and change the system for the better or else there is no future for our country
